We will aim to engage some of the common objections which people raise against Christian belief. For every session we will be studying either an objection to Christian belief or an argument for Christian belief. We will then discuss our findings in a (slightly) formal debate format. Together we can learn to engage with non Christians in a way that is respectful but also gets to the core of some of these issues.

If you would like to belong a group of creative people who can share their time and talents with each other then bring your art or craft project to this group. This is a perfect group if you want to try something new, or just make the time to complete that project. I will be on hand to provide inspiration, ideas and practical help if you would like to try something new. You will need to cover the cost of your own project materials.

We’ll meet monthly to discuss books we’ve chosen to read as a group. They will be both Christian and secular books. A mixture of fictional books and self-growth/teaching books as we choose. Opportunity to invite non-church friends to join the group.

How do we women help build great families that love God, each other, our neighbours and in the nations? Come meet with God, be inspired, encourage and challenge one another as we seek to learn to see the fullness of heaven come into our marriages, families and beyond. Children are welcome.

Come if you want to learn more about communicating God’s love to others using the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Training will be offered. It’s going to be a practical and fun group, with lots of heavenly adventure. We are hoping to build a small team to run regular (perhaps bi-monthly) “pit-stop” events at a local café.

We will start by praying for each other and this will widen to praying for others. Through our time together it is hoped that we will come up with some recommendations on how to further develop the healing ministry within City Church Dundee .

Kidszone Plus Events need a team of dedicated volunteers who bring a wide-range of skills, abilities, qualities and experiences.
Volunteers are needed to help lead, plan and prepare specific aspects of the Kidszone Plus Event. These volunteers will attend the 2nd Sunday planning and preparation meetings. Volunteers are also needed to simply turn up at the event prepared to help out.

Together we will watch a series of videos which hopefully will challenge our understanding of “church” in the light of the book of acts. This will be followed up with a discussion within the group to further help our understanding of biblical idea of church and how we fit into God’s purposes for us.

I would hope that this group would help people to feel more comfortable hearing and sharing what they hear God saying and enjoy this time, being with other members of their church family, in His presence. We will be interceding for the city and the nation. Guided by the Holy Spirit we will be praying for revival in Dundee and across the nation while worshipping and praying more deeply into what we believe God is saying.

A chance to get together and sing for fun! Open to all, whether you think you can sing or not. We'll try out some different styles of music, build confidence in singing in parts, and maybe work on something to perform. Singing together is good for you! Come and find out for yourself.

This group is for people who feel they lack confidence to stand up in public and talk to a group of people. The aim is to help you gain confidence and encouragement so that you can share your testimony of what God is doing in your life or what you feel he is showing you. We will learn how to do it while having fun together.
|
|

We will be looking at part of the book of Romans to inform and help us understand our Christianity’s Jewish Roots.
We shall discover and investigate through discussion, prayer and revelation our roots and branches in His Olive Tree. This will not be a formal type Bible Study but rather a journey of discovery together.

|
Fun, Fitness and Fellowship. We will spend time in the out of doors enjoying our Father’s creation. We will explore lots of local locations and occasionally trek a bit further. We hope to have fun together and a number of us are keen to improve our fitness. We will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy fellowship together either on the walk or in a coffee stop or chipper afterwards!
